honestly, this reminds me of someone who does their best to be good, but is probably tormented inside by some horrible evil that wants to overtake them. that's why on the outside, there's the angel, but in the mirror, there's a demon. and the angel is doing their best to keep the demon from breaking free, but they're having trouble keeping it contained, because its horns are already poking through the mirror...
